At the end of Term 1, families will receive student Progress Reports via COMPASS.
At Ripponlea Primary School we want students to develop not only strong academic skills but also the learning habits that help them succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Our progress reports focus on the learning behaviours students demonstrate during everyday classroom learning. These behaviours help students become confident, independent and resilient learners.
Progress reports allow teachers to share with families how students are developing important habits such as:
These reports provide a snapshot of how consistently students demonstrate these behaviours and help guide conversations between students, teachers and families about continued growth.
Learning behaviours develop over time, and our goal is to support students in building the skills that help them become successful learners.
The following learning behaviours are being considered:
Interest, participation and persistence during learning.
Working and interacting with others.
Managing learning tasks and organisation.
Managing behaviour, focus and feedback.
