We have a longstanding buddy program where Year 5 and 6 students are paired up with each new Foundation student for their first year of school. This program is one of the many ways we help Foundation students settle into school life as well as develop leadership skills in our senior students. Buddies meet regularly throughout the year to help their buddies learn new skills and complete fun activities together.
Our Year 4 and 5 students who will be ‘buddies’ the following year, meet the new Foundation students during the last 'Stepping-Up' session so that they have a familiar face on their first day at school.
